InsiderScope: insider signal intelligence across 12 jurisdictions
InsiderScope identifies the rare public insider filings that historically preceded meaningful post-disclosure price moves, across SEC (US), FCA (UK), BaFin (Germany), AFM (Netherlands), Finansinspektionen (Sweden), FIN-FSA (Finland), Finanstilsynet (Norway and Denmark), AMF (France), CNMV (Spain), ASIC / ASX (Australia) and the Canadian Securities Administrators (SEDI).
What InsiderScope does
We ingest primary regulator filings, normalise them into a common schema, and compute an InsiderScorea descriptive 0–100 score with four bands (Score A / B / C / D) reflecting how strong the historical pattern is. We never label filings "buy" or "sell", never use traffic-light colour semantics, and never provide investment advice (MiFID II Art. 44 posture).
Beyond the raw filing
Most tools republish insider disclosures. InsiderScope characterises them. Every PDMR notification and Form 4 filing across 12 regulators in scope receives a neutral InsiderScore band, Score A to Score D, timestamped before the outcome is known and written to an append-only forward-performance record. The result is not another directors' dealings feed: it is a public accountability layer for insider disclosures, falsifiable by design.
Read the record before you trust the score
The forward-performance record is append-only. Every score InsiderScope has published is visible with its matured outcome, including the misses. Wilson score confidence intervals are published only once a band has accrued enough matured signals to support them, and a public counter shows how far the record has to go.
Works alongside your existing broker
Whether you execute through Avanza or Nordnet in the Nordics, DeGiro or Trade Republic in Germany and the Netherlands, or Hargreaves Lansdown, Interactive Investor, AJ Bell or Trading 212 in the United Kingdom, InsiderScope adds a characterisation layer above the raw regulatory filings that your broker does not provide. The characterisation is on our side; the order stays on yours.
Insider disclosures, explained
What is a PDMR notification?
A PDMR notification is a regulatory disclosure filed when a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities, typically a director or senior executive, transacts in their own company's securities. Under EU MAR Article 19, UK MAR and equivalent frameworks (US Form 4, German Directors' Dealings, Swedish insynshandel, Dutch meldingen bestuurders) it must be published to the market within short deadlines.
Are insider buys predictive of future stock performance?
Academic literature (Lakonishok & Lee 2001; Jeng, Metrick & Zeckhauser 2003; Cohen, Malloy & Pomorski 2012) documents statistical relationships between certain non-routine insider purchases and subsequent returns. These are population-level findings, not forecasts for any individual disclosure. InsiderScope characterises disclosures; it does not predict prices.
What does the InsiderScore A to D scale mean?
InsiderScore is a neutral characterisation across four bands (Score A, B, C, D). A higher band indicates a characterisation more consistent with historically studied opportunistic disclosure patterns. It is not a buy or sell recommendation and ignores personal circumstances.
Which regulatory jurisdictions does InsiderScope cover?
The filed scope covers 12 regulators. Each source carries a public release state and a last-successful-poll heartbeat; when a regulator is not live, its filings are not scored.
